Here at First Assembly of God, we want each child in 252 Kids to grow up, and live 3 BASIC TRUTHS that are based out of LUKE 2:52 which says, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man. The 3 BASIC TRUTHS are I NEED TO MAKE THE WISE CHOICE, I CAN TRUST GOD NO MATTER WHAT, and I SHOULD TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WANT TO BE TREATED.
All students are checked-in and registered in the 252 Kids room. While everyone remains in that room, we break into small groups which is known as PLUG IN. PLUG IN is designed to introduce children to the day’s topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their Small Group Leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers. The
kids will come back to a large group setting which is known as POWER UP. POWER UP is designed to engage children in worship in a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time.
Wednesday nights during 252 fusion kids will experience a large group experience to reinforce the monthly virtue. Then kids will break into a small group time known as CATCH ON. CATCH ON is designed to help kids understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They’ll discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Life-application and memory-verse activities, as well as prayer, are always a part of this hands-on time. Because of how kids learn today, the kids will learn through different mediums. Sometimes it's through a video based curriculum, puppets or illustrated teaching. Whatever the process, it's always interactive and encouraging. 252 KIDS Rock!
