My step mom recovery

For all of my family that have been praying, thank you so much! God is doing a miraculous healing in Linda. She is now walking, can carry on a conversation, and has been eating more. It was a night and day difference from when I last saw her. Prayers are powerful so please keep praying for her.

New Ministry - Feeding the Homeless

It has been on my heart for a long time to start feeding the homeless, especially during the winter. God said, "Just DO IT!". I have made no plans except spend the cash on hand and by faith I know He will provide the rest. It is HIS ministry, not mine. So far our church has gone out two different Sunday evenings. We took sandwiches and soup to the homeless shelter in Davenport and fed about 60 the first night and about 80 the second night! It was SO WONDERFUL to bring them a hot meal and they were SO APPRECIATIVE! JOIN US every Sunday at 5:00pm in the church kitchen to prepare the food and deliver it to those in need. You will be blessed as you bless others - I guarantee it. We will also take donations of food or money. "Is this not the kind of fasting I have chosen:...Is it not to share your food with the hungry..." Isaiah 58:6a & 7a

God provided a great job!

During this 21 day fast God has given a great job to my brother. Really been praying for provision and God came through. Thank you Jesus!

My step Mom's recovery

God is good! My step mom Linda continues to progressively heal. It's a miracle in itself that, after flipping the car end over end, and coming to rest upside down, that she has no broken bones. When emergency responders arrived she had no pulse and was not breathing. As soon as she was removed from the vehicle she began breathing and her heart began beating without any assistance. We were able to remove the breathing tube on Friday night, the bleeding and swelling in her brain has stopped, and just as of last night began responding to verbal commands. Not only is He healing her, He is also opening doors to share my faith with family members. God is incredible!

We visited your church while we were in the quads last week and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it and how you all ministered to me in such an awesome way. It was exactly what I needed at the exact moment I needed it. Pastor Sarah and Pastor Sarah were awesome. Also, I was compelled to fast as a result of being there so I'll be starting soon. Thank you!
